Employment After Incarceration/Fair Chance Hiring - CEUs: 1.5

  Back to Home

  Back to General

Fair Chance Hiring is needed to allow folks who are coming home from prison an opportunity to obtain employment and not have to be a statistic of the revolving door of prison. Employers should know about the fact that background checks are not necessary in finding great employees and at times they can miss out on unicorns because of background checks.

Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Define what Fair Chance Hiring is
  2. Know that a person should not be defined by the worst thing they have done
  3. Be willing to give someone an opportunity even though they had spent time in jail/prison.
