This webinar will empower individuals with disabilities with the skills to advocate for themselves at work. Participants will learn to better understand their rights, communicate effectively about accommodations, and build supportive relationships with colleagues and supervisors. This session offers practical strategies and real-life examples to help navigate workplace challenges and foster a more inclusive environment.


Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Explore the dynamics of the workplace as it relates to individuals with disabilities, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and recognition of personal and legal rights.
  2. Equip participants with the skills to communicate their needs clearly and effectively, ensuring that they can advocate for necessary accommodations without misunderstanding.
  3. Teach strategies for fostering positive and supportive relationships with supervisors and colleagues, which are essential for successful advocacy and an inclusive work environment.

About the presenter:

Stefani Morrow, the Founder and CEO of Soulstice Unlimited, leads a development lab based in DFW that helps people change and grow in their personal and professional lives. She focuses on women who are serious about improving their careers, leading businesses, or becoming entrepreneurs. Stefani believes in the importance of inner work for real change. 

Stefani is a career educator whose dedication to Soulstice Unlimited comes from her experiences, insights, and passion for personal growth. With years of experience in education and coaching, she now runs Soulstice Leadership Consulting. Here, she works on making individuals, teams, and organizations better through strong training and development programs. 

With a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Prairie View A&M, a Master's in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce, and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Abilene Christian University, Stefani possesses a robust academic background and expertise in leadership and communication.
