Creating effective workplaces requires more than good intentions; it relies on practical knowledge, respectful communication, and strong support systems. This webinar explores everyday social graces, clear and supportive communication practices, and practical ways natural supports can be built into the workplace to support positive employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

Participants will examine common myths and misperceptions related to disability, productivity, accommodations, and workplace safety, and will learn evidence-based strategies for navigating everyday workplace interactions. The session emphasizes how communication choices, social expectations, and natural supports—such as coworkers, supervisors, and existing workplace routines—can improve retention, performance, and overall workplace functioning.

This training is designed for employment professionals, supervisors, and service providers seeking practical, actionable strategies that align with real-world workplace expectations and vocational rehabilitation goals.
