UNT WISE is aware of an issue where a customer may add courses to their cart, pay, and receive a message stating they have successfully enrolled in those courses, but the courses do not appear on their Canvas Dashboard. Should this occur, please notify us immediately, and we will rectify the issue.
This is an asynchronous course, meaning you will work through the course at your own pace.
There are nine modules covering all the required information needed in Texas to submit for the LPC-Supervisor license.
The modules consist of these topics:
- Overview
- Supervisory Relationship and Counselor Development
- Conceptualizing and Models of Supervision
- Supervision Methods and Techniques
- Ethics and Board Rules
- Standards of Practice
- Breaking Down Supervision
- Contract
- Recruiting New Supervisees
Modules 2 through 8 end with a quiz. You must pass each quiz with a 75% or higher to move to the next module. Quiz content is based on the information from the preceding module.
Supervision CE Hours: 40
Texas Ethics CE Hours: 15
This course counts as 15 ethics CEUs towards your UNT WISE Employment Services Credential Renewal.
As required by BHEC rules, you must complete the course within 90 days. Please note that your 90-day completion period begins on the day you register for the course, so we recommend registering only when you are prepared to complete the course within that timeframe. If you do not complete the course within 90 days, you will be required to retake and repay for the course.
