This course is pre-approved for 1.5 hours of CRCC (Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification) continuing education clock hours  through 1/22/26!

Treating Customers respectfully is a crucial part of a TVR councilor’s role. When Customers are treated with disrespect, it becomes impossible to build a working relationship based on trust. Consequently, the Customer loses an opportunity to transition to employment. Further, TVR loses the opportunity to guide the Customers toward their employment goals and increase the number of employed Customers on a given TVR Counselor’s caseload. The webinar will be a bottom-up examination of all aspects of building and maintaining positive, professional customer relationships

Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to

  1. Communicate with Customers professionally: Verbally in-person, via telephone, text, and phone.
  2. Actively listen to Customers to help identify what the Customer’s interests are and find an employment opportunity for the Customer that aligns with their interests and goals.
  3. Identify and avoid unprofessional behaviors, particularly breach of confidentiality.
  4. Create professional boundaries with Customers.
