According to the Centers for Disease Control, the workplace is the number one cause of life stress. As a result, it is imperative to provide a deeper dive into information regarding resources to support individuals within a strenuous workplace. This webinar is designed to help employees understand how to examine factors within the individual’s control to minimize workplace tensions. Participants are encouraged to have an idea of how to locate resources that support navigating healthy work environments and a curiosity about how stress may contribute to overall health, but it is not required.
Objectives
Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify the several ways to reduce/eliminate stress.
- Understand simple strategies for coping with workplace stress.
- Determine resources and ways to get help to manage stressful situations.
About the presenter:
Dr. Lakeiah Cheatham is an educator of 28 years with experience as a general and special education teacher, campus administrator, and EdTech professional learning leader. Continuous improvement of self and looking for opportunities to develop the lives of others using effective research-based teaching/learning practices is the best way to describe her. When she is not cultivating the minds of educators, students, and/or communities, time is well spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
