The Harvard Business Review reports that in the U.S., employees spend almost three hours involved in conflict every week. However, research shows that most employees have never received basic conflict management and dispute resolution training. As a result, employees are left to figure out how to handle micro disagreements in ways that may not be conducive to a healthy work environment. Participants are encouraged to engage with the webinar by stopping and starting as needed to explore types of conflicts, ways to deal with conflicts, and ways not to deal with conflicts. This webinar is a great introduction to understanding and resolving conflict.
Objectives

- Determine preconceived notions that may prevent resolutions to conflict in the workplace.
- Understand simple strategies for managing conflict within the workplace.
