    About this Resource

    This extensive training video provides a basic understanding and application of child-centered group play therapy across developmental ages. In this video, you will be able to watch:

    • Instructional module on CCGPT basics and theoretical considerations 
    • Multiple sessions with 3 groups of children across different ages, including a sibling group, and 
    • Discussion roundtable on play therapy process represented in child group sessions.
     

    Follow Dr. Ray as she shares the theoretical grounding of child-centered group play therapy and applies the tenets to her work with three groups of children who represent various ages commonly seen in group play therapy. Then, listen as she shares with colleagues her own perceptions of the sessions and answers their questions.
